SnoHo’s Bike Rental

• Bikes rented from our vendor will be delivered to our camp.
• Pick-up: SnoHo will have a designated time to pick up our bikes.
• Return: Bikes will need to be returned by Sunday 8/31 night.
• If you rent an e-Bike
  • Burning Man only allows Class I and Class II e-bikes so purchase accordingly.
• Locks & accessories are NOT included in bike rentals
  • Make sure you purchase these other Playa Bike Necessities.

Bike Tips

🤔 Why do I need a bike?

• BRC is huge! 7 sq miles. You will want a bike to get around.
• The only form of transportation on the playa.
• You will bike multiple miles per day. Get something that is comfortable.
• The fatter the tires the better.

🚫 It’s Prohibited to leave your bike on playa

• Bikes are MOOP if left behind!
• Make sure you have a plan for your bike when you leave.

🔐 Lock up your bike

• When the weekend arrives, REALLY lock up your bike. The weekend crowd wreaks havoc.

💡 Pro Tip

• Use a label maker and put your name, camp address, and camp name on your handlebars.
• This way people can return it if lost or will realize it is not their bike.

Playa Bike Necessities

Bike Lock

• Always lock up your bike, especially when the weekend arrives.
• Get a COMBINATION cable bike lock because losing a bike lock key on playa sucks.

Bike Cushion

• So your butt doesn’t get sore with the bumpy road
• your bike seat will get so hot during the day, don’t burn your bum

Bike Basket

• So you can bring items along with you such as extra water or any supplies you don’t put in your backpack.

Lights (for safety)

• You will not be able to use your bike at night or in storms without lights.
• It is very dangerous with thousands of other bikers and vehicles riding around the playa without lights.
• Bike wheel lights
• Bike head light

Fingerless gloves

• Since you will be biking so much, you should get fingerless gloves to prevent blisters on your hands.

Trailer (bonus)

• To tow all your snacks, vibes, drinks, etc.

Identifying elements

• There are thousands of bikes on the Playa and you will lose your bike if you can’t identify it.
