Kitchen Rules

SnoHo will provide at least the following kitchen amenities for our campers to use in our shared kitchen:

Meal Plan for Purchase

Swing City Meal Plan Overview

The meal plan requires campers pay a fee and sign up for a kitchen work shift prior to playa. When you sign up, be sure to include any dietary restrictions.

Those who volunteer additional labor on top of that shift, may receive a discount off the meal plan fee. If you are working a kitchen shift, you must arrive on time to ensure a timely delivery of the meal service. If you’ve signed up for a shift, but can no longer make it, please inform a Kitchen Lead. Better yet, find a replacement and let us know.

If you’ve opted into the meal plan, pick up your wristband in the kitchen. Remind the kitchen member who gives you the wristband if you reported any dietary restrictions.

Food will be served buffet style with options to meet dietary restrictions (as reported in the meal plan sign up form) and palates.

Money Canteen is an open kitchen time where you’ll find coffee, electrolytes, hot water for soups or oatmeal, and plenty of snacks like protein bars, chips, and bananas. Help yourself!

You must bring your own plate, bowl, cup and utensils—the kitchen will not provide these for you.

You are responsible for your own gray water when cleaning your dishes and utensils.

Meal times are as follows for 2025:

If you require more sustenance throughout the day, practice self-reliance, bring your own food and snacks, and plan accordingly.
